an experienced and fully skilled mechanic required to join a hardworking team in romsey.
your new company based in budds lane industrial estate, romsey fast fit offer garage services for cars and light commercial vehicles. your new role diagnosing vehicle faults manually or with the aid of software and digital tools. • repairing and replacing faulty vehicle parts • performing test drives to check for repairs • carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance • updating vehicle service records • installing and fitting new vehicle accessories must be able to do all aspects of mechanical work, clutches and cambelts etc.
experience needed to succeed • minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role • desirable but not essential – an mot testing qualification • a valid driving license • the ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative • the ability to work on all vehicles • working knowledge of repair tools and machinery • the ability to deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance
