our client:

my client is an award-winning main contractor specialising in social housing. they are working on a social housing refurb projects and are looking for a site manager with the experience and knowledge to run these.

the role:

an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced site manager to join an award-winning main contractor to work on social housing upgrades schemes throughout the lincolnshire region.

daily duties/key responsibilities:

assisting the contracts manager with pre-start detailsreporting to the project / contracts manager on the progress against the programmemaintenance of company required health & safety procedures / initiatives including ppe, site inductions, management of method statements/risk assessments, work permits, scaffold/lifting equipment inspectionsadherence to the company quality standards including management of defects, compliance with specification, compliance with materials / workmanship schedules, subcontractor code of conduct, considerate constructors schemecoordination / leadership of the site teamassisting with the preparation of the health and safety filemaintaining and update construction phase health & safety plan as works proceedliaising with the client, consultants, contract administrator, head office etcto be responsible for the opening and closing of the site facilitiesmanagement of site facilities; welfare, toilets, offices, compound area etc.to assist in the management of project specific preliminariesco-ordinating the sub-contractors as appropriatepreparation / assistance with the site progress reportssafe storage and co-ordination of materialsto be responsible for the accurate / timely completion of site-based documentationattendance at project and company related meetingsto ensure, along with the resident liaison officer, all relevant resident and public complaints are resolved efficientlywhat is on offer:
