summary

• i am looking to employ a pa to work with my social and very happy 7 year old boy

• my son has a learning disability and is not yet speaking

• the tasks will include accessing activities away from the home

• identifying new activities to try out

• some days you may be working with my son within my home

• i require a driver with their own car and clean license

• mileage will be paid at 35p per mile while working

• this would be a rewarding role for the right person. could you be that person?

other requirements

• non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.

• must have a uk driving licence

• must have access to own vehicle

all applicants must be willing to undertake an enhanced disclosure & barring service check if required.

successful applicants will be entitled to holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

typical duties

domestic:

preparing drinks & snacks

personal care:

• changing nappy as required

• helping with other aspects of personal care as required, for example assisting my son to get dried and changed at swimming pool.

social:

assist my son to access leisure activities including swimming.

accompanying my son on general trips out

previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to this role.
