Furniture upholsterer - bahrain, manama

Upholsters will build a quality product by following specific instruction sheets and utilizing proper upholstery techniques. upholsterers are expected to be able to use a variety of tools, including staple guns, scissors, air drivers, hammers, and mallets to attach the cover to the frame.

-inspect raw materials prior to performing operations to ensure proper quality standards and alert the supervisor to any substandard raw materials or prior operations
-using staple guns, scissors, air drivers, hammers, mallets, or other tools attach cover, mechanisms, and springs to frame parts according to specifications to achieve high quality appearance and comfort
-repair furniture frames strip down and re-upholster furniture, using supplied and own-made templates
-sewing and cutting skills
-ability to understand and follow technical drawings
-deep buttoning experience
-assemblers are required to correct any substandard, off-quality work that they produce
-maintenance on equipment is required at all times, as well as preventative maintenance
-maintain necessary skills to achieve 100% efficiency
-adhere to all company policies and promote safety in the workplace by following all company safety rules
-promote goodwill and a positive company image to fellow employees and the community
-maintain a clean workspace
