Red hook lobster pound hiring for our weekend smorgasburg markets. possibility or 2 to 3 days work. this is a great additional part-time job. 10 to 16 hours per week. smorgasburg is the largest and busiest nyc food market. this is a great position for someone who is thinking about starting their own food business and want to learn about the food market experience. it is also a great gig for someone who wants to have fun working in great community on a sunny day. red hook lobster pound is known internationally for serving one of nyc's best lobster rolls. we are an expanding, exciting company that takes deep pride in not only the food we serve but the people on our team.

this job will require weekend work all summer. please do not apply unless you are available saturday and sunday from may through october.

we are hiring cashiers and cooks.

this position is for you if:

- you are adventurous.
- you have experience in working with food and customer service
- you're a team player.
- enjoy high volume and a fast pace workday
- enjoy working in the sunshine with large crowds
- take pride in your job

- you have experience working with seafood.
- you have experience working mobile food venues such as the brooklyn flea and - smorg
- you have a nyc food handler's permit (food protection license), or have already taken the test.
- you have a valid drivers license and a good driving record
- have a g23 license

this position is not for you if:

- you are allergic to lobster or shellfish.
