due to continued and sustained growth, we now have a vacancy for an experienced buyer to join our successful manufacturing company based in buxted, near uckfield, east sussex.

we are an industry leading company manufacturing cars and parts for major car manufacturers and customers in the historic motor racing industry.

this exciting opportunity represents an important role within our team providing the right candidate with an interesting, fast paced and varied position.

the ideal buyer candidate should have:

- a proven track record in purchasing including experience working with an erp system.

- knowledge of inventory management is required.

- the ability to successfully prioritise your work load is essential.

buyer duties include:

- liaise with suppliers, engineering and production staff over all aspects of purchasing.

- process, place and progress orders in-line with the company s scheduling needs.

- negotiate prices and terms with suppliers during quoting and purchasing.

- source new and appropriate suppliers to add to the company s network.

- helping to maintain stock control by identifying shortages and ordering in a timely manner.

- good salary + pension offered to the right person.
