Marketing manager for art studio and online retail - united kingdom, wimbledon, london

we are looking for an experienced and self-driven marketing manager to take responsibility for all of the company’s marketing activity. you will mainly be responsible for developing and implementing new marketing strategies, building and leading a marketing team, overseeing all marketing operations of the company, and developing its marketing strategy in line with its vision.

the first 2 months will include a complete audit of the existing marketing function. meeting with founder and key staff of the company to establish key goals, coming up with an appropriate strategy to meet those goals.

responsibilities

plan, implement and manage marketing strategy measure, review and improve the performance and success of marketing campaigns contribute to the overall growth of the company review and manage content marketing strategy track kpis on a regular basis and present reports use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions analyse company’s marketing strategy develop initiatives to enhance the efficiency of marketing and advertising plans stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices design, plan and execute effective marketing campaigns design the marketing strategy and operational plan for the brand and each relevant product across all relevant channels own the execution of all marketing activities, including adjusting the plan as required, hands-on execution and working with internal and external teams work with various teams to produce high quality content and distribute it effectively across all relevant channels work closely with product and business development to design and execute effective events and campaigns for high quality lead generation recruit and hire staff to build and managing a marketing team that suits the business the best. generating a volume of content (either writing, curating or commissioning where necessary) to be used for inbound marketing campaigns integrating marketing technologies to ensure best-in-class campaigns be the face of the marketing team, building out the function in order to create a high-performance team

qualifications

bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years experience in marketing
ability to multi-task
strong content creation skills.
proactive, pragmatic attitude.
knowledge/interest in the craft industry.
strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
