Production worker - united states, richmond (indiana)

adecco is hiring immediately for production workers with a local client in hammond, in. production workers perform essential duties with pay starting at $14.25/hour.

 

responsibilities:

set up and operate machines

load and unload machines (may be assisted by automation or ergo aids)

operate manual material handling equipment to restock production areas with raw material or purchased parts

move wheeled carts, racks, bins containing work in progress to adjacent production areas

participate in troubleshooting and solving any production related problems (e.g., machine breakdown, defects in purchased parts), and the continuous improvement process

inspect product quality

cleaning surrounding work areas

may be assigned different duties depending on plant needs

 

requirements:

high school diploma or ged equivalent

ability to stand for long periods of time

previous manufacturing experience preferred

ability to safely lift up to 50lbs
