a patient treatment coordinator role in jacksonville, fl is now available through adecco medical and science. in this role, you will be working where you will be working with new patients for a healthcare provider in a fast-paced environment. present treatment plans, file insurance claims, discuss billing status, and make necessary collection calls. we are looking for someone with an open and outgoing personality; someone who is welcoming and communicative and loves interacting with people. this is a minimum 6-month+ contract-hire role starting immediately. the work hours are monday-wednesday from 7:45am-4:30pm and thursday from 8:45am-4:30pm. lunch will be 1 ½ hours.
responsibilities
superior customer service - will be dealing with all new patients.
presenting treatment plans to new patients (note: you will be trained to understand how to provide treatment plans, but there should be some understanding of how to relay medical information to patients.)
discussing billing status and billing amounts with patients
making/receiving collections calls
fast-paced environment. patient treatment coordinator must be able to perform tasks in a fast- paced environment (throughout the day) without it affecting his/her quality of work.
medical or dental office experience – preferred but not required
some type of supervisory experience – preferred but not required
medical/dental billing experience (no minimum experience, but required)
strong customer service experience (patient/customer - facing)- (no minimum experience, but required)
strong emailing and communication skills
problem solving skills
patient scheduling experience
collections experience
