shift: mon-fri 7:30am-4:30pm
responsibilities for this hr payroll clerk job include:
enters and or reviews timecard and other payroll information on a bi-weekly basis ensuring correctness, completeness and timeliness.
follows established processes in reviewing timecards with a high level of accuracy.
makes changes to timecards from scheduling and timekeeping reports within necessary time frames.
updates routine deductions for benefits area.
post-payroll audits, adjustments, reporting and analysis.
processes payroll corrections in accord with established procedures.
enters employee changes (pars) and other information in with a high level of accuracy.
documentation, data integrity and audits of systems and processes.
audits new hire and transfer entries to ensure accurate payment of wages and data integrity.
reviews audit reports as necessary and assist in plans necessary to update records as needed.
questions accuracy and integrity of changes requested prior to processing.
performs other data entry and payroll duties as assigned.
qualifications:
high school diploma or ged required; accounting degree preferred
ideal to have experience with medical insurance/billing
must have strong attention to detail
knowledge of excel and word
strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
must be able to complete tasks with 100% accuracy
must have accounts payable experience
