We are currently seeking a maintenance supervisor!

maintenance supervisors oversee the maintenance team including maintenance & janitorial staff, on-site managers and are the primary contact for tenants if your on-site isn't able to handle an issue.

responsibilities include:

- provide maintenance for the property including upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds
- check all incoming task daily on our buildium portal and schedule daily maintenance - including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance
- assist on-site managers with any help they need regarding their property and/or maintenance
-assist with making recommendations for any potential service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel in conjunction with the on-site managers
-assist with creating and serving tenant notices, as needed
-take the initiative to improve processes and maintenance tasks
-ensure that staff are held accountable and are exceeding
-schedule and assist in the selection of supervision and of all vendor work

be responsible for the inventory, ordering, and delivery of all necessary supplies and equipment
handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests
be available to work on an on-call basis
report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents

requirements:

bilingual a plus
self-motivated with attention to detail
ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts
effective communication skills
property maintenance experience minimum 3 years
supervisory experience preferred minimum 2 years

additional information:

work hours : 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
compensation: tbt based on experience
