Littleburg is looking for a prep cook to join their growing team! littleburg was recently named one of the top 50 restaurants (2021) in boston by boston magazine and is cooking up delicious greek-inspired vegan food at their take-out window in union square, somerville as well as with their weekly prepared meal delivery around greater boston.
experienced cooks earn $22/hour between set hourly and tips. additional hourly pay is available following a training period. responsibilities include prep cooking, packing orders, inventory management, and cleaning, as well as supporting our line cooks during saturday brunch service. delivery and foh responsibilities available for those interested. must be available to work during the day wednesday through saturday, however the exact hours are flexible.
what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
-2+ years experience cooking from scratch in a high volume restaurant environment
-a sense of urgency combined with the ability to maintaining high standards for food quality
-a positive attitude that welcomes feedback
-the ability to work independently and structure their time to most efficiently finish all tasks
