Sam's green paw is looking for an energetic dog lover to join our grooming team!
mondays, tuesdays, thursdays, fridays, and saturdays from 8am-3pm.
under the direction of the store manager of sam's green paw, the employee assigned to the position identified above provides dog bathing and drying services. duties and responsibilities include the following:
perform complete bathing services; e.g., expressing anal glands, rinsing, shampooing, and applying conditioner.
know the varieties of shampoos and conditioners provided and their usage, including properly diluting shampoos and conditioners.
at all times, follow safety procedures to ensure the safety of the dogs.
perform bathing services in a fast-paced environment.
provide personalized bathing services as requested by customers.
be proficient in the operation of company blow dryers.
using the appropriate level of heat, dry dogs after they receive a bath with a bather.
perform drying services in a fast-paced environment.
establish and maintain good communication between dryers, groomers, and front staff.
requirements
possess the ability to properly lift and secure dogs in the bathing tub and drying table.
be confident in handling and caring for dogs.
adhere to all policies and procedures established by the company.
act in an ethical, honest, and professional manner.
must love dogs!
