Croton reservoir tavern is seeking applicants to expand our bartending crew! ideal candidates have excellent customer service, feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and can collaborate well within a team. appreciation of and familiarity with craft beer, whiskeys, and new american cuisine is a plus!

the restaurant contains both indoor and outdoor seating, and follows all applicable covid-19 protocols to ensure the safety of our staff and patrons. as such, candidates are required to show identification and proof they have received a full sequence of a covid-19 vaccine unless an exception due to a religious or medical accommodation applies.

duties include but are not limited to:

mix drinks using a range of ingredients, including standard and unique drinks.
deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each customer.
set up and keep the bar area clean, organized, and compliant with a kept inventory of supplies.
perform pos transactions; balance cash receipts; maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night.
maintain knowledge of the food menu in order to assist guests with any inquiries or suggestions.
maintain a safe environment by identifying and alerting management and/or security to problem customers and having them removed.
break down, clean, and restock the bar at the end of service.
follow proper time and attendance protocol, including tip reporting.
other responsibilities as assigned.
requirements:

1+ years bartending experience.
basic math skills and the ability to accurately operate a cash register and pos system.
ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
ability to work closing shifts and/or long hours. weekends off!!!
able to work in a standing position for long periods.
ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.

10/hr plus tips
