as a client risk specialist at our client site, you will play a vital role in compliance with federal laws/regulations and company policies throughout onboarding processes and client lifecycle processes while also monitoring for any irregularities or inaccuracies that create client risk and potentially fall outside of the company’s risk appetite. primary responsibilities include:
communicate directly and effectively with clients, management, other lines of business and internal operating groups regarding legal/regulatory/policy requirements, client documentation, client profile information and related compliance information
responsible for identifying and resolving situational client onboarding issues, profile maintenance issues and questions about profile data as they may arise throughout onboarding and client life-cycle processes
perform complex due diligence and research for prospects and new/existing customers
serve as point of contact to both external clients and internal teams, including front office, credit, operations, legal and compliance for client profile/relationship data quality.
analyze customer/relationship profiles, transactional activity and source information to determine and resolve potential client risk, with little to no supervision.
responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:
6+ years compliance, audit, legal, risk, or line of business products experience preferred.
requires ba or equivalent work experience.
exceptional independent analytical skills required.
must be a self-starter, with exceptional organizational skills that complement the ability to work independently at a fast pace to meet deadlines with little to no supervision
must have advanced level understanding of microsoft office programs; experience with line of business platforms and other technical operating systems preferred.
