Long term care pharmacy looking for pharmacy tech fillers, processors, and cii-civ compliance office technician.
duties include:
cii-civ compliance officers - coordinate with doctors and nurses to get required documentation for narcotic orders, follow up with medical offices for signatures related to narcotic orders, paging doctors when emergency authorization is required. process cii-civ orders, assist with cii-civ inventory. answering phones and providing customer service to snf, alf and ltc facilities.
filler - filling iv and po orders under supervision of the pharmacist, inventory management, assist with preparation of e-kits (iv, po, im, cubex), filling monthly cycle medication for ltc facilities.
processor - processing new orders/refills/iv orders/cii orders, processing electronic prescriptions, answering phones and providing customer service to ltc facilities, assisting pharmacist in making sure all order go out in a timely matter, communication with nurses about non-covered medication, calling doctor offices for refill authorizations
-flexible schedule, weekends, nights, day shifts available
-looking for a fast learner, self-sufficient, motivated individuals that thrive working in a group setting, and able to multi-task
-experience in ltc setting is a plus
-processing experience is a plus
