Accounting coordinator - united states, yorkton
adecco has partnered with a client company in york pa hiring for an accounting coordinator. the accounting coordinator will act as a dynamic link between the account manager, operation/dispatch, and accounting/billing departments. this is a position that provides exposure to multi-tasking, problem-solving, and customer service.
· performs daily review of general ledger transactions and reports. processes and maintains financial records for accrued expenses.
· reconciles various general ledger accounts. maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions and balance sheets accounts reconciliations.
· assists with monthly reconciliation and preparation of workpapers for financial statement presentation.
· assists with the accounts payable process.
· communicate confidently and professionally with a variety of internal and external customers.
· accurate data entry between multiple operating systems for billing and invoicing.
· have a familiarity with computer programs such as microsoft word, excel, and be comfortable working with computers.
· ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· take on new assignments with enthusiasm and a direction for improving the process.
schedule:
· 8-hour shift
· monday to friday
education:
· high school or equivalent (preferred)
