responsibilities for this junior bookkeeper position include, but are not limited to:

check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, and computer printouts

bank reconciliation and balance of all accounts

draw up financial statements (trial balance, income statement, balance sheet)

prepare checks, payments, and bank deposits

mail customer invoices to specialty stores daily

putting together financial reports

 

to be considered for this junior bookkeeper position, you should:

experience with ar/ap principles

associate degree in accounting or 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience

excellent communicational skills (verbal and written)

strong computer skills in ms word, excel, and ouickbooks

must have strong organizational skills

attention to detail and ability to multi-task and follow directions
