fawkes & reece are working with a market leading national house builder with requirements for an experienced and ambitious quantity surveyor in the peterborough

you will be responsible for maintaining multiple projects concurrently, determining work priority and maintaining schedules. whilst following each project from inception through to completion you will pool commercial department resources and report directly to the commercial manager.

responsibilities;

produce accurate information for contribution forecasts and monthly cost/value reportsefficiently report on site progress and ensure correct procedures are implemented for 'extension of time' applications and recovery of 'loss and expense'maximise profitability and cash benefit for the companycontrol and administer sub-contract accountsre-measure of all site worksliaise with contract management on cost control and all financial matters relating to the contractensure architects instructions and variations are obtained and properly valuedprogress settlement of final accountsefficiently procure sub-contractors

skills and experience

2 years experience as a quantity surveyor with a house builderyou must have a hnd/hnc in quantity surveyor or equivalentexcellent written and verbal communicationit competencywhat you get in return
