Health, safety and environment specialist - united states, auburn

adecco is immediately hiring a hse/ehs specialist in auburn, maine.

you will be part of a positive work culture.    this is a direct hire/permanent job.

schedule: days, monday through friday. (but flexible to work other hours when needed)

pay: will depend on your experience level

 

job duties:

large focus in hazardous waste compliance (training, logging, pickup scheduling, and inspections)

report to and provide administrative support to the hse manager with database management

assist plant safety teams and drive employee involvement

respond to safety concerns from employees

ensure overall compliance in the plant

 

 

qualifications:

bs in safety and occupational health , environmental science, or related degree field preferred

2-4 years of safety experience in manufacturing environment

familiarity with osha, epa & iso management system standards and requirements
