adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an it buyer / strategic sourcing manager position. can be located in atlanta, ga or charlotte, nc

in-office position

3 days- in-office position, w-2

type: fulltime (40 hours / week) contract

length:6+ months, temp to hire

shift/hours: 8a – 5p

key responsibilities:

stratiging sourcing and contracts negotiation with it suppliers, specifically in the software and services space.

work with business units to define requirements

provide timely reporting to management

utilize systems to perform functions

manage risk

requirements for the it buyer position:

5+ years of experience with software sourcing and software contracts negotiation

5+ years of experience with negotiating saas applications, support renewals, and any type of software.

knowledge of procurement and supply chain management, including sourcing.

experience with ariba or other similar procurement software.
