requirements for the clinical lab specialist:

responsible for performing routine testing of biological specimens.

performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal sops and external regulations bringing compliance issues to the attention of management.

assures quality customer service to all customers.

maintains accurate records and documentation while maintaining donor, patient, and employee confidentiality.

performs routine maintenance on equipment, identifies equipment malfunctions, and notifies appropriate personnel when new supplies are needed.

other duties as assigned.

qualifications:

all candidates must have a bs degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry – or very closely related field.

official or unofficial transcript must accompany the resume for submission (so that they can review the credit hours for their chemistry and biology courses).

must be able to present an official transcript (with the school seal) when they start this position.

they must be fully vaccinated. they are okay if they have their first shot and are waiting to get their 2nd shot.

appropriate sate licensure and/or certificate, where applicable, required.
