this is a fabulous job for a housekeeper to work for a friendly family with a beautiful family house in kensington. they have three children twins of 8 and 11 years old who are at school all day. they are not looking for a nanny but you will need to be ‘child friendly’ for this role. they do not have any pets.

the role will include:-

all general housekeeping duties
cleaning and presenting the house to a high level
laundry and ironing and you need to know how to care for fine clothing. making sure the children’s school uniforms are available when needed.
wardrobe management
changing the beds and other household linen
family style cooking
help with the children if needed after school

candidate requirements

it is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper with some cooking experience for at least three years in a private executive style residence. you will need to speak good english, be ’child friendly’ and be able to organise your own day. you will need to have a full set of checkable references, preferably written.

days / hours of work and salary

this is a live out job where you will be working monday to friday, 9:30 – 7 with a break during the day. you may be asked to babysit on one night a week (not over the weekend) – you can stay overnight at the house if you are babysitting but it is not essential. salary will be in the region of £650/700 net per week.
