mixologist bar manager – new cocktail bar, music and arts venue & restaurant london
i am looking for a full time passionate mixologist bar manager who is proud of what they do, and can be proud of their venue. someone who speaks excellent conversational english and has exceptionally high standard for cocktails - self-motivated, with plenty of initiative and be able to deliver exceptional guest service skills and have experience in exceeding guest expectations.
you will be working in a very small cool little funky entrepreneurial company without the corporate red tape, you will have a fantastic chance to make your mark and drive the business. you will work closely with myself the owner of the company, ensuring that sales targets are met and working to develop the business and change things that may not be working. i am looking for an experienced creative person who can bring a fresh feeling and make our guests feel right at home. if you are a musician or have experience in the music industry, this will be an added bonus as we will have a program of events running in our venue.
role responsibility:
you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the bar including: - making drinks and cocktails to order. you will oversee the full bar operation.
maintaining cleanliness standards - innovating the menu and creating new list.
ensure the seamless running of the bar.
deliver a fantastic personal guest experience.
maintain stock rotation, re-stocking food and beverage items.
ensure the working environment is clean, safe and always and ensure cleaning schedules are adhered to.
ability to suggestively up sell.
cash handling, processing card payments and use of a till.
monitor quality and availability of products and service provided.
must be available to work weekends and late nights.
