role summary:-
act as second level of end user it support in itil environment.
essential responsibilities:-
• isolate and resolve system issues in server client networking environment.
• hands and eyes assistance for various it teams (server, network, security, others).
• diagnose standard software and hardware issues and coordinate with respective vendors for resolution in case required.
• installation/re-installation/ configuration of systems, printers, scanners.
• configure computing devices per the desktop/laptop standardization policies of the end user
• installation/re-installation/ configuration of in-scope client software/ applications.
• troubleshooting email client related issues.
• troubleshooting printer/scanner related issues.
• troubleshooting issues related to standard ms office software and internet clients.
• support for local area network issues (lan), wan, wireless and dhcp clients.
• troubleshoot antivirus, encryption and data loss prevention software.
• install approved patches onto client computing devices.
• troubleshoot print queue related issues.
• desktop / laptop support os packaging planning reports.
• software packaging planning reports.
• deploy software patches.
• support business on it infrastructure related projects when assigned.
• support video conference hardware or software related troubleshooting.
• evaluate end user requirements for computing devices.
• assist in the it equipment procurement process.
• maintain inventory and lifecycle of computing assets.
• actively participate in it initiatives based on organizational directives.
• follow change management process while implementing changes.
