mlc partners are working with a leading medical institute to recruit a trainee accountant. the organisation has gone through a recent period of change and this role joins in a restructured position which provides the opportunity to put your stamp on things and develop personally, growing your finance experience in a supportive environment.
main responsibilities of the role are:
support with management and financial reporting by maintaining accurate records within the finance system.
manage the day-to-day sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring the veracity of the data.
complete regular reconciliation of bank statements, control accounts and support on the balance sheet.
work with the rest of the finance team and other stakeholders to improve the efficiency of the financial processes in place.
the role has extensive support in place around it and would support someone ambitious, who is looking for their first move into finance and wants to develop an accounting career.
the successful candidate will:
demonstrate a basic understanding of excel and other office programs with the desire to learn and develop.
have some experience within an office environment, whether as a job or university placement.
ideally be degree qualified, although strong candidates with other experience are also encouraged to apply.
