quantity surveyor - main contractor - residential project in tower bridge, london - paying up to £60,000 + package
our client, a leading main contractor with core values and a reputation of delivering construction projects across london to a high standard, is looking to recruit an additional quantity surveyor. with a track record from the 1900's, our client has built their business from their track record of quality on their projects giving them a great name in the industry.
as a business, they operate in london and the south east with their main focus being new build residential schemes and have delivered some impressive rc frame developments.
due to new pipeline and secured work, our client is looking to recruit a quantity surveyor for a medium rise residential project that is due to kick off next month in the tower bride area in central london. you will work as the qs on this scheme responsible setting up all early stages of procurement, managing various packages, attending site and client meetings, managing an open book contract and dealing with variations and weekly cost reports. with this being a new project, it is an opportunity to come in from start to finish and also benefit from an existing proven team with a senior qs above you that has been with the business, progressed and knows the systems. the contract value of this project is circa £20 million.
our client is looking for someone with 8 years + experience with previous experience working as quantity surveyor for a main contractor.
you will benefit from working with a great business, that support development and progression for all levels and you will work closely with your commercial manager. they are looking for a proven qs that enjoys mentoring, and building successful teams as well as someone who is client friendly and focused on excellent delivery.
for this role our client is looking at paying in the region of up to £60,000 plus package depending on experience. you will also receive a competitive package on top of your basic salary.
