an excellent opportunity for an experienced sheet metal worker to join a well-established company based in laindon, essex.
the company:
they operate as a specialist ventilation and ductwork contractor, combining years of experience within the construction industry they have the capacity and experience to manage a wide range of contacts from modest ductwork fit outs in small shops and residences, to large scale ventilation systems for multi-story buildings and commercial dwellings.
the company are now looking to recruit experienced sheet metal workers to join their team.
about the role:
reading and interpreting engineering drawings. use of machine tools such as presses, guillotines, punches. use of hand and hand machine tools.
candidate requirements:
previous experience within a similar role. ability to read engineering drawings a necessity. a great attention to detail. work in an organised manner and adapt well to changes. be able to apply logic. you will also need to show and demonstrate an aptitude for this type of role. time served or nvq qualified.
company benefits:
28 days paid holiday inclusive of public holidays. company pension. overtime available. immediate start available.
working hours: monday to friday 7.00 - 4.30.
in return the company is offering a competitive salary of £12.50 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience.
