Medical assistant - united states, jacksonville (florida)
adecco medical and science is assisting our client to find a medical assistant in palm harbor, fl.
position summary
1. room patients, obtain health history and check vital signs
2. document patient care using electronic medical record software.
3. administer medications and perform injections/immunizations
4. assist providers with minor, in-office procedures and perform point-of-care testing
must have qualifications/experience:
1. high school diploma or completion of an equivalent adult education program
2. graduation from an accredited medical assistant program with a ma school diploma, or relevant and equivalent medical assisting experience
3. current basic life support for healthcare providers (aha) or cpr/aed for the professional rescuer (american red cross) or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
4. full covid-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role
assignment: contract to hire!
schedule: m-f 8am-5pm
must have qualifications/experience:
1. medical assistant certification
2. phlebotomy experience
3. current cpr
