job summary:
matrix machine, located in tempe arizona, is looking for an experienced shipping and receiving associate to join our team. the ideal candidate will be an over-achieving, highly motivated individual who works well in a team-oriented environment.

key duties and responsibilities:
• responsible for preparing shipments to customers.
• performs final production processing such as part marking, wrapping, and packing of parts and other tasks as required to facilitate, and expedite timely shipping of orders according to shipping instructions specified on the customer’s purchase order
• receives, unpacks, and examines incoming shipments
• performs general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization to ensure the area is maintained, clean, accessible, and safe
• operates palette jack and forklift to move materials within the shop and assist unloading trucks (will train)
• responsible for management and counting of the physical inventory
knowledge and skill requirements
• experience handling, wrapping, and packaging final product
• can multi-task under tight timetables while maintaining accuracy
• demonstrates good problem-solving skills
• is self-motivated, takes initiative, ability to learn quickly
