requirements:
the ideal store manager must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast high-volume retail environment. health and beauty aids, linens, housewares, and apparel background is a requirement in order to be considered.
hands-on merchandising skills: lot-less closeout is a high-volume retailer that moves merchandise as quickly as it comes and requires constant hands-on merchandising skills including inventory, product placement, and excellent visual presentation of merchandise.
good communication and organizational skills.
operational skills: hire, train, develop, supervise, and motivate 20-70 employees. manage employee schedules in accordance with payroll budgets. receiving merchandise as well as processing corresponding paperwork. front-end management skills with an emphasis on loss prevention.
must be computer literate with knowledge and experience using basic computer functions and microsoft excel.
