restaurant le garage, located in bushwick, brooklyn is looking for a lead line cook / sous chef.
our cuisine is based on french roots, light cooking, spicy, mediterranean style, not your typical french bistro.

we are looking for someone who is passionate about food, creative, a team player and enjoys a good challenge!

-proficiency in meat, seafood, vegetable preparations and cooking
-experience with product ordering
-must be level-head in all situations including mentoring and supervising cooks
-can hold the line in a high volume service
-capable of expediting
-have a friendly and personable demeanor
-able to follow and adjust recipes as needed
-have your food habndler's certificate or in the preocess of getting it
