Well established neurosurgical practice is seeking a qualified and dedicated medical insurance biller to join our administrative office. in this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks requiring data analysis, detailed in-depth evaluation and making sound judgments. as our medical biller your daily duties will include appealing denied claims, prepare and post charges, prepare and submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers, posting payments received from patients and insurance companies, verbal and email communication with patients and insurance companies regarding details of account balances. audit and follow up on accounts receivable reports for claims processing status and status of payments.
minimum 2 years experience as a medical biller or similar role. solid understanding of medical billing software. must have ability to multitask and manage time effectively. outstanding problem solving and organizational abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
