Surgical technologist (plastics) - united states, tampa

we are currently seeking a full time surgical technologist for our busy plastic surgery practice here in the tampa, fl area.

 

  • medical / surgical assistant - facial plastics immediate full time opening (no relocations please) for take charge, highly motivated, and experienced workers who know how to treat our patients with a smile while ensuring the delivery of top notch clinical care.
  • a demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize duties is a must.
  • this position is based at our tampa fl office and will be full time in support of our providers at that location.
  • the team hosts seminars on a weekly basis around the tampa area and this position will sometimes be expected to attend and provide clinical insight to prospective patients and assist the team in set up and tear down.
  • your hours will vary; most days will require 9am-5pm and some may require 7am - 7pm.
  • only apply if you are willing to work a schedule that will be somewhat flexible and if you are comfortable traveling as required.
  • experience in a plastic surgery office is a plus however derm experience will suffice.
  • facial plastics greatly preferred.
  • core responsibilities: -assist the providers in preparing and performing level 1 surgeries including the application of cosmetic injectables.
  • -communicate pre-operative and post-operative instructions to patients and ensure patient understanding.
  • -perform chart documentation, completing consent paperwork, processing medical clearances, following and adjusting daily surgery assignments -constantly strives to work as a team with the physician, clinical, and administrative staff to deliver the highest possible level of customer service to each patient.
  • -serve as the primary interface with patient care including taking photos, rooming, assisting in providing care, follow up and documentation.
  • we are only hiring experienced self starters who can walk in and begin assisting in surgery with minimal on-boarding.
