role purpose

you will support the delivery of the designated landscape programme which is examining the case for a new national park in north-east wales.

your role will include developing and managing the delivery of the communications and engagement plans for the programme. you will be responsible for ensuring effective communications relating to the programme within nrw, as well as engagement and communication with key national, regional and local stakeholders.

qualifications and skills

1. substantial communications and engagement experience across all disciplines.

2. high level of skill across all communications and engagement disciplines and channels.

3. member of relevant professional body or working towards membership and visible commitment to your own cpd.

4. detailed understanding and knowledge of nrw's remit, roles, policies and priorities in order to be able to drive effective communications campaigns in support of these.

5. ability to make sound judgement calls, in particular regarding protecting reputation.
