buyer required to work for a leading manufacturing organisation based in windsor. we are looking for an experienced buyer with a background of purchasing within the engineering or manufacturing sectors. on offer is the opportunity to work for a leading business that have backing of a much larger group which has led to an unprecedented growth and rise in sales.
in addition to the daily buying of materials for our customers work, the role also includes managing the finer details of materials and logistics. for example, consumables, shortages, rejects and sourcing alternatives.
to be suitable for the role you must have purchasing experience within the manufacturing sector ideally electronics, distribution or contract manufacturing or oem manufacturing.
we are looking for an experienced buyer that can cope with the new demands associated with the purchasing of components due to brexit, shipping and covid related issues. you will have an eye for detail and the ability to pick up the product requirements to associate very similar products when ordering.
you will join a small team allowing you to work with our other buyers and our account managers and key account managers
