jacob thomas associates are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a global manufacturing organisation to appoint a program manager. the successful candidate will orchestrate all industrial development activities for project(s).to include, industrial development, process development, production launch and reporting.

the program manager role;

lead the industrial development team and provide training and development where required

carryout focus meetings, reviews and delegate tasks within the team to drive accountability for new product launches

oversee industrial footprint, plant equipment selection (new / reuse / share), plant layout, mifd / mifa and industrial trials

manage the entire program cycle from cradle to grave. responsible for the launch planning and budgets

liaise with internal teams to arrange production trials on new products in preparation for launch

coordinate the installation and launch of production equipment and tooling and assist production during the ramp-up after the handover

responsible for hse and ergonomic convergence in the plant

ensure industrial development milestones are achieved and performance is monitored, recorded and presented back

the program manager candidate;

previous experience of program management within an engineering setting

engineering masters degree or equivalent

excellent communicator with the ability to lead, guide and influence stakeholders and internal teams

good problem solving skills with the ability to provide solutions

proficient in microsoft packages
