duration: 6 month fixed term contract

what will you be doing?

the role holder will be accountable for delivering management accounts for central overheads and all head office companies in the group. a key focus will be absorbing knowledge from the current team about existing processes and effectively documenting this; the role holder will also be responsible for passing on this knowledge to the new financial controller and permanent finance manager.

the role will also involve the establishment of effective, informative business partnering, plus the definition, implementation and continual improvement of the management accounting / reporting process.

what are we looking for?

you will be a fully qualified accountant (aca/acca/cima) with at least 3 years post-qualification experience

must have prior hands-on experience in a management accounting role

must be confident and a self-starter with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment

strong interpersonal skills are a must

good business acumen; ability to understand the workings of a diverse range of business units

attention to detail that can be applied to documenting team processes

systems knowledge of workday and google suite would also be beneficial.
