assistant dog minder needed for small doggie day care

this job is to care , feed train and play with pooches. also to execute cleaning. please check all details below before applying.

- must be over 18 and speak fluent english;

- no smokers need to apply thank you (member of staff have severe smoke allergy);

- must be 100% reliable and punctual; (this is very important!)

- must be energetic person;

- must love dogs and be very patient with them; (crucial! if you don't love dogs fully and unconditionally, this job is not for you)

- must be comfortable outdoors under any weather condition, especially when raining/windy;

- must be comfortable with cleaning up after dogs, and maintaining a clean and organised environment (day care centre inside and outside);

- must be available at least 2 fixed days per week. (we are flexible)

- time: 11:00-15:00

- occasionally later hours will be required according to candidate's availability (extra hrs will be added to the monthly payment);

please bear in mind this is a physically demanding job. picking up dogs, running with dogs, playing actively with dogs, dogs pulling on lead, cleaning, training etc.

the ideal candidate must be a dog lover and have experience with dogs, be patient, reliable and flexible. also organised and with initiative to solve problems around the day care centre.

we look after dogs in west london - hounslow. the job requires the assistant dog minder to be at our day care centre playing games, exercising / training and entertaining the pooches actively and lively all the time.

the right person will get the opportunity to expand their knowledge about dogs, dog training, dog psychology and get a dog first aid and dog training courses.

this position starts with a 3 months probatory period starting immediately and possibly it will be a permanent position.

experience required, qualifications are not required as basic training will be given. so if you love dogs we can help you to build up your experience and add some qualifications as well.
