what will you experience as a tutor with explore learning?

you ll get a warm and fuzzy feeling by building meaningful, lasting relationships with children and their families through your tutoring sessions. teaching maths & english to groups of up to 6 children aged 4-14, you ll tailor your approach and support consistent progress.

you ll develop your communication, time management and teaching skills by adapting your approach to each student, identifying new ways to inspire and support them as they develop in their learning. you ll highlight their successes and enable your students to recognise progress.

what does a typical shift look like?

our tutoring sessions range from one-to-one to groups of up to six, and you ll be working with the same children each week, finding out what approach works best for them to support consistent progress. there will be no lesson planning or marking as your resources have been created and designed for you, and our online learning platform uses an algorithm to assess students as they go, allowing you to focus on bringing learning to life for your students.

this role is fast-paced, hands-on and varied, and your training will match. be ready to roll up your sleeves and embrace every challenge; trust us, it s worth it when you see the progress you, and your students, make. from your first week in the role, you ll learn how to lead the learning experience, and you ll think on your feet to adapt to each student you work with. you ll also hone your communication skills to deliver quality feedback, confidently guiding your students towards achieving their goals.
