Pharmacy technician - united states, kansas city (kansas)

adecco medical & science is looking for pharmacy technicians in overland park, kansas! we have first or second shift available. please read below and apply with an updated resume if you are interested.

 

essential responsibilities and requirements:

enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information

contact patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues

process prescriptions (from intake to order completion)

resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided

you'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information.

it's a fast paced, high-volume environment where members are counting on you to deliver these important, sometimes life-saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.

 

must have qualifications/experience:
high school diploma or ged
current and unrestricted pharmacy technician licensure in kansas
1+ years of experience working as a pharmacy technician
national pharmacy technician certification (ptcb) preferred
 

full time hours – first or second shift available

weekly pay on friday

five-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full time offer

benefits available including medical, dental, vision, 401k

*please note both shifts may have frequent mandatory ot. ot could be an additional 1-2 hours/day
