role and responsibilities

the purpose of this role is predominantly to ensure the day-to-day running of our logistics network and deliver outstanding customer service at every stage from initial enquiry and quotation request to project completion. this role involves the following;

provide accurate quotations in a timely manner
raise orders across multiple platforms applying diligence and efficiency.
implement a proactive approach to problem-solving
develop and maintain strong, productive working relationships with our retail partners to provide excellent customer service, in a responsive and effective way.
liaise with our template and installation teams and drivers to schedule logistic arrangements as efficiently as possible
fastidious record keeping on the company’s central production system, and the relevant systems of our retail partners

skills and experience required

previous experience in logistics or estimating would be welcome but not essential
computer literacy with microsoft word, excel and outlook
strong communication skills, both written and verbal
ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision to accomplish team goals and objectives
must have a methodical and organised approach to work
impeccable attention to detail, particularly to numbers, spelling and dates
ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to constant and challenging deadlines
must be able to build strong relationships at all levels, both across our business and with the personnel of our valued customer base
