domestic couple sought for role near cheltenham, gl54. the large property is home to a lovely couple and grown up children who visit regularly. the pa who has known the principals for 20 years highly recommends the role! the housekeeper will be responsible for general duties including cleaning, ironing, laundry, silver/ antique polishing and some pet care (although no walking). the principals are keen cooks, however you may be required to do some occasional light preparation. the gardener be responsible for helping with gardening duties including mowing, strimming, cleaning the resin pathway as well as helping with maintenance tasks around the home. you will also be responsible for car maintenance such as sorting mots, washing and driving the principals locally and to london. other long term staff are employed and include a full time gardener, two part time gardeners and another housekeeper, so team players are essential. the ideal couple will be proactive, flexible and looking to stay long term. accommodation provided is private two bed cottage within the village which is a short walk away from the property. two drivers are essential for this role and must be pet friendly as the family have three dogs and three cats. working monday-friday, 40 hours per week with flexibility. salary on offer £60-£70kgpa. pets considered, regrettably not suitable for dependents. interviews to commence right away for a soon as possible start.
