adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a remote medical coder role based in minneapolis, mn.

specific duties:

review documentation in pathology reports, reviewing cpt codes assigned for accuracy.
communication with lab staff regarding any discrepancies in cpt codes and/or
documentation

 

required qualifications:

high school diploma/ged

must be certified as a cpc through aapc -the medical coder's aapc cpc certification must have the 'a' for apprentice removed from their certification, to be considered for the position

 

preferred qualifications/experience:

pathology experience is preferred, but not required.
