you will be working for a large business in the cannock area who offer a range of products and services across the nation. this is for a permanent position joining the finance team as an accounts payable clerk.

your new role

your role will be to take responsibility or the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions for multiple divisions on the company. duties will include:

inputting invoicesvalidating supplier set up ensure all payment terms, impact spend limits and specific terms are met query investigation and resolution including liaising with other departments to resolve issues continually providing excellent customer service to suppliers reconciling supplier statementsthis role is full time and is working 2/3 days in the office and the rest from home.

what you'll need to succeed

you will have experience in an accounts payable role or in a finance role where you have dealt with invoices, finance data entry. this role will require good customer service skills to be confident in dealing with suppliers and sound communication skills to liaise with finance and non financial departments. this role would suit someone who is used to working accurately and has a detail orientated nature, you will need to prioritise your own workload and be able to organise your time to meet declines.
