company: finning (uk) ltd number of openings: 1 worker type: permanent position overview: reporting to the head of used equipment & rental, the used equipment sourcing manager will be responsible for sourcing used equipment in territory and globally by developing and maintaining relationships with end users and the finning sales team, dealers and brokers to identify and create opportunities for the acquisition of used equipment to meet local and international market demand. job description: major job functions: support all aspects of used equipment acquisition to support market demand for all industries (30%) maintain working relationships with the finning sales team and customer base, dealers, brokers and auctioneers to provide preferred access to used equipment (20%) assess and utilize competitive information, product changes, and product health and safety issues to negotiate and do business in finning's favor (10%) identify and leverage new sales and sourcing opportunities (20%) appraise and negotiate the purchase, sale and trade of used equipment from equipment suppliers (20%)competencies: customer focus: being successful means continuously paying attention to customer needs and adapting as these evolve. this heightens the importance of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer centric solutions. cultivates innovation: paying attention to what customers want and need -
