adecco has partnered with a client company in york pa hiring for 2nd shift machine operators. the down-stacker works within a team to operate the corrugated machine in a safe, efficient and reliable manner.
essential job functions:
continually monitors quality of board
inspects product visually and with measuring tools
monitor output and adjust machine with communication to maintain product quality
maintain and report operating and quality records
check all machinery for mechanical soundness and make sure all safety features are in good working condition and report all unsafe conditions to supervisor
administration of the different waste categories
maintain at all times the machine at expected housekeeping standards
cross-training to learn other corrugator dinctions
follow all safety rules and procedures
assists other departments and/or areas when requested by management/supervisor
troubleshoot when operating issue on machine occur
train other team members to pass on knowledge & expertise
