accounting – payroll assistant – part-time

 

immediate, part-time opening for experienced accounting and payroll assistant for our brookfield/new milford, ct border area client.

accounting and payroll responsibilities will include:

  • various accounting tasks to include ar, ap, inventory, general ledger and other daily financial transactions
  • assist with special projects
  • work with controller to maintain, prepare and process weekly/bi-weekly payroll(s)
  • track and review time and attendance records for accuracy and manager approvals
  • also other general administrative duties

    skill and experience requirements:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience processing payroll – knowledge of paychex is a plus experience
  • general accounting knowledge
  • detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
  • msword, excel – proficient, outlook
  • ability to work independently
  • 25 – 30 hours per week – your option
