are you a residential conveyancer who would love the opportunity to work from home and just travel into an office in gateshead just one day every two weeks? if so, read on and contact fiona hill at saccomann to find out more about this residential conveyancer role that we have just been instructed on. in this role you would be assisting residential conveyancers with their caseload and cover things such as holidays and sick leave. this would suit someone who maybe has run their own residential conveyancing caseload and maybe wants to relieve that pressure.

our client is looking for an experienced residential conveyancer to join this modern and technology-driven company in gateshead who are recognised for their commitment to creating positive colleague experiences, whether that be through career progression or just culture and atmosphere at the office. if you are committed to your own professional development as well as the success of this reputable conveyancing team and have a solid background in a variety of residential conveyancing matters, our client would like to hear from you.

the role:

- reporting to the operations manager, you will be assisting a number of fee earners with in the residential conveyancing department by taking on their caseloads during absence such as sickness or holidays.

- you will be responsible for raising enquiries, issuing contracts, obtaining searches and processing them, keeping client files up to date and processing mortgage offers.

- you will be taking on the relevant fee earner's emails to ensure matters are kept updated and moving along in time for the return of the fee earner.

- filing all correspondence and information on the firm's case management system.

the ideal candidate:

- you must have extensive fee earning experience within residential conveyancing and be confident with the key elements noted above.

- you will be personable with excellent communicational skills to be able to build and maintain a rapport with clients as client satisfaction is one of the most important core values to this client.
