College caretaker/handyman - united kingdom, derby, derbyshire

gi group derby are currently recruiting for caretakers / handy persons for a large education facility based at pride park, derby city centre.

an enhanced dbs is essential for this role, we can accept an enhanced dbs that has been issued in the past 3 months or gi group can help with getting you an enhanced dbs to a cost to yourself of £46.00.

monday - friday on a weekly rotating shift basis, 0530-1330 & 1330-2130 (this may differ so you must be flexible if it is require)

responsibilities of the role include; adhoc maintenance jobs, such as fixing handles and patching walls and some painting, also moving furniture from site to site in a work vehicle, patrolling the car park and assisting with opening and locking up of sites.

experience in a similar role or school is ideal. we require responsible and reliable workers, with a nice personality and hardworking ethics.

references will be required.

temporary to permanent for the right people starting on £9.50 per hour.
